A topper in MBBS, MS and DCh, Dr Devendra Dekiwadia served the department of Surgery at the Medical College at Jamnagar as associate professor of surgery and CVT surgery. He is the pioneer Surgeon to develop the facility of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery in Saurashtra and Kutch region of Gujarat. He has delivered 5 prestigious oration in the subject of cardiovascular diseases in different societies.
His childhood memories inculcated in him the passion for mountains. He rendered his voluntary services at the National Himalayan Trekking Program organised by the youth Hostel association of India. He established an NGO Abhiyan Adventures in 1992. From 1981 to date he has promoted thousands of youth of our country to explore the mountains and aspire an adventurous life.
He has traveled to more than 68 countries of the world. His motto has been Live Simple, Stay Simple, See more, Understand more, and Promote more to economic living.
