Dr Pradeep Rangappa is a senior consultant in intensive care medicine at the Manipal Hospital Yeshwantpur, Bangalore. Having completed the DNB in Internal Medicine from St John’s Medical College in Bangalore, Dr Rangappa moved to Australia to accomplish the fellowship training in intensive care & secured the FJFICM. He secured EDIC in the meantime and obtained the postgraduate diploma in ECHO cardiography from the University of Melbourne. Dr Pradeep Rangappa is an active teacher and academician in the field of critical care medicine and is well appreciated by the student & teaching community. Dr Rangappa has been the secretary and Vice president of ISCCM, Bangalore chapter; executive committee member, and accreditation secretary of ISCCM. Dr Ajith Kumar A.K is the lead consultant in critical care medicine at Aster Whitefield Hospital, Bengaluru. He obtained his MD & DNB in Respiratory medicine at GS Medical College and KEM Hospitals in Mumbai & has worked as a senior resident in JIPMER, Pondicherry. He obtained the European Diploma in Intensive Care(EDIC) after working at the Frankston & Western Hospitals in Victoria, Australia. He received FICCM in 2017 and was conferred with FRCP (London) in 2024. He is an enthusiastic member of the intensive care teaching programmes of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine(ISCCM) and is the past chairman of the ISCCM Bangalore chapter. Dr Kumar is a teacher & examiner of IDCCM, IFCCM, IDCCN & FNB/DrNB courses in critical care. Dr Kumar has been an author/invited reviewer of various national/international journals & currently holds the post of secretary of the Indian College of Critical Care Medicine. Specially interested topics include sepsis, shock & ARDS
